Value & Patents

Unlocking Your Patent Portfolio’s Hidden Value Through Enforcement and Patent Monetization

Tuesday, November 10th, 2026  |  12:30 – 18:00

Herzog, Yitzhak Sadeh 6, Tel Aviv

Is There Untapped Value in Your Patent Portfolio?

Are valuable patents sitting unused in your portfolio? Are competitors benefiting from technology you invested in developing? Do you know what your patents could actually be worth?

Could patents that are no longer central to your business still generate significant value? And if enforcement becomes relevant, do you know whether, where and how to act?

Patents can be strategic business assets, creating leverage, generating licensing opportunities, supporting enforcement strategies and unlocking value that may already exist within a company’s portfolio.

Value & Patents, the second annual conference of Herzog Patents dedicated to patent enforcement and monetization, brings together leading IP litigators, patent professionals and valuation experts from Israel, the United States and Europe.

Through practical presentations, moderated discussions and a cross-border panel, the conference will explore how companies can identify and realize the hidden value in their patent portfolios — from evaluating the strength and potential value of an asset and preparing for enforcement, to selecting jurisdictions, developing litigation strategies and considering monetization opportunities.

Before You Enforce: Building the Case Before the Case

Successful patent enforcement begins long before a claim is filed. Topics will include

Is Your Patent Ready for Enforcement? Strategic considerations before taking action and preparing a patent portfolio for enforcement.

What Is Your Patent Really Worth? Understanding patent value, potential damages and the economics behind an enforcement decision.

Europe and the UPC. The evolving European enforcement landscape and the strategic opportunities and considerations created by the Unified Patent Court.

Choosing Where and Whether to Enforce. Global considerations, jurisdictional choices, costs, potential outcomes and the business case behind enforcement.

From Patents to Value: The Strategic Panel

Featuring All Conference Speakers. The closing panel brings together the perspectives of litigators, patent professionals and valuation experts from Israel, the United States and Europe for a practical discussion on one central question: how can companies turn patents they already own into business value?

The panel will explore questions such as: What makes a patent, or a patent portfolio, worth enforcing? How can companies identify overlooked or underutilized assets? When does enforcement make commercial sense? How should potential damages, costs and risks be evaluated? Which jurisdiction offers the right strategic environment? What role can litigation funding play? When should licensing be considered instead of, or alongside, litigation? What should companies be doing today to make their patent portfolios more monetizable tomorrow?

An open, cross-border discussion followed by audience Q&A.
